Join our Assurance Delivery Network Team, and you will help our engagement teams and clients meet their reporting requirements by assisting with the execution of non-complex and non-judgmental sections within the audit framework.

The Assurance Delivery Network Team is a network within EY South Africa. You will have full access to the entire network throughout the workday, as well as assurance delivery managers who will provide you with detailed instructions and guidance throughout your roles and responsibilities. You will use your technical and soft skills to stay on top of various accounting and auditing principles and acquire in-depth knowledge of the audit sections you will be responsible for.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the planning, execution, and delivery of assurance engagements;
  2. Document the execution of specific non-complex and non-judgmental audit procedures clearly and accurately, based on engagement objectives and plans;
  3. Deliver high-quality work aligned with EY Global Audit methodology and engagement team expectations;
  4. Demonstrate a basic understanding of assurance risks;
  5. Identify execution exceptions promptly, document findings, and discuss with the assurance manager;
  6. Collaborate with the assurance manager and operations manager to set goals and responsibilities;
  7. Contribute to a positive team environment with commitment and optimism;
  8. Promote EY’s ethical standards, including data confidentiality;
  9. Utilize EY technology and tools to enhance service delivery and share knowledge.
