Title: Head of Connectivity

Type: Full-time

Terms: On-site

Location: Considering applications from Cape Town, South Africa, and Breda, The Netherlands

Responsibilities
  1. API Roadmap and Performance Ownership: Collaborate with the Chief of Product and Global Partnership Program Manager on the API roadmap. Oversee connection performance, including new builds, upgrades, and rebuilds, and implement improvements.
  2. Collaboration and Connectivity Implementation: Work with internal teams (commercial, customer service, engineering, and product) to define and implement connectivity solutions. Partner with external vendors to establish and maintain robust connections and integrations.
  3. Technical Troubleshooting and Efficiency: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly. Improve XML, hotel PMS, and channel management connections for efficiency and agility.
  4. Operational Scalability and Strategic Insights: Focus on scalability to reduce manual workload. Provide insights to support strategic decisions and reduce integration churn.
  5. Leadership and Team Management: Manage and develop direct reports through training, mentorship, and performance management. Contribute to the leadership team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in connectivity management, API management, and integrations.
  • Strong technical skills, including APIs, networking protocols, and integration technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a proactive approach.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments with multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
