To coordinate and monitor the effective implementation of projects as per customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the overall Project Deployment function, which includes (but is not limited to):
- Managing the deployment of project deliverables
- Tracking and reporting on project milestones
- Managing equipment projections for projects
- Scheduling installations with relevant role players
- Resource Scheduling, which includes (but not limited to):
- Scheduling calls using the internal system
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Identifying and resolving issues that impede project delivery, which includes (but not limited to):
- Collecting input from all stakeholders to identify and address risks that have evolved into issues
- Managing the execution of all rollout plans to proactively prevent issues from escalating and seeking additional assistance if necessary
- Ensuring comprehensive information gathering and actionable steps for resolution
- Implementing best practice project management tools, which includes (but not limited to):
- Regularly assessing the performance of project management tools and recommending improvements or updates
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements and customize tools accordingly
- Developing and maintaining documentation for project management processes and tool usage guidelines
Qualifications
- Completed a 3- or 4-year Project Management Qualification at a recognized Higher Learning Institution
- At least 5-8 years of proven work experience as a Project Manager in an IT Environment
- Knowledge of system/industry best practices
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of client core business culture and needs
- Understanding of retail (advantageous)
