Role purpose / Business Unit :

Take end-to-end responsibility for the MAST national structural infrastructure portfolio, considering international best practices related to research, development, design engineering, implementation, and maintenance of all existing and new structural solutions. This role requires a deep technical understanding of site-specific MAST structural engineering requirements, with total cost of ownership (TCO) responsibility.

Responsibilities:

1. Structural Engineering: Responsible for structural analysis and methodologies aimed at stress reduction and force impact mitigation on all MAST structures. Support all programs related to new build, colocation, tower strengthening, upgrades, and maintenance. Drive the tower structural information database, ensuring data governance and validation, and develop digital tower models to facilitate data-driven engineering solutions that improve site sharing profitability and reduce operational and financial risks.

Thought Leadership and Management:

• Establish trust and influence as a thought leader and change agent within the organization.
• Manage people, enhance team effectiveness, develop talent, and foster employee engagement.
• Develop governance structures to monitor and evaluate supplier, contractor, and third-party performance against SLAs/KPIs, benchmarking best practices.

Operational Management:

• Manage site infrastructure operational budgets (CAPEX and OPEX).
• Develop dashboards for management visibility and structured client reporting.

Compliance:

Prepare MAST for ISO compliance and certification audits.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications: BSc Civil Engineering, ECSA registration, proficiency in mathematical calculations.

Experience: 5-8 years in telecommunications sector, with knowledge of site design, build, optimization, operations, and maintenance.

• Understanding of telecommunications site technologies.
• Strong management and program delivery experience.
• Problem-solving, negotiation, and financial acumen.

Proven Track Record:
