Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Act with utmost urgency when attending to any client request.
  2. Ensure the best allocation of resources of the contract to achieve maximum cleaning output.
  3. Adhere to resource requirements stipulated by the SLA.
  4. Manage output-based contracts efficiently.
  5. Proactively manage a pool of trained relief staff to prevent service disruptions.
  6. Maintain work schedules and job cards relevant to each site.
  7. Maintain high service standards through regular site visits and inspections.
  8. Ensure biometric system usage and management by unit staff according to requirements, with Project Manager oversight.
  9. Project Manager to approve salaries and monitor labour/turnover ratios.
  10. Ensure Contract Managers and Supervisors adhere to disciplinary codes consistently.
  11. Follow recruitment policies, procedures, and deadlines for new appointments.

Communication:

  1. Conduct at least one formal documented client meeting per month to understand and meet client needs.
  2. Respond promptly to client and management requests with necessary actions.
  3. Complete monthly reports for specific services as agreed with clients.
  4. Keep line management informed of pertinent contract issues.

Health and Safety:

  1. Ensure adherence to all OHS act requirements, site-specific policies, quality programs, and legislation.

Unit Finances:

  1. Operate within budgetary guidelines, managing labour, capital, assets, chemicals, and other expenses.
  2. Use only accredited suppliers and approved products.
  3. Prepare accurate budgets and forecasts in line with deadlines.
  4. Ensure correct billing and analyze financial results monthly, taking corrective actions as needed.

Additional Communication:

  1. Maintain regular client communication, including monthly meetings and reports on various operational aspects.
  2. Filter company information effectively to contract managers and staff.

General:

  1. Stay informed of industry trends and innovations, suggesting improvements.
  2. Maintain morale and motivation through good communication.
  3. Attend meetings, training, and conferences as required.
  4. Achieve company objectives and implement client and Tsebo Management initiatives.
