Purpose and Objectives

Customer Services and Delivery drives software adoption, ensuring customers implement and run what they buy while safeguarding maintenance and subscription.

Role Overview

As an Expert / Senior Support Engineer, you will work in the CoE focusing on SAP Technology, including Software Logistics, Technical Architecture, HANA, Basis, Cloud, and deliver services related to software implementation, transformation, upgrade projects, operations, continuous improvement, quality management, problem resolution, and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the preparation, conception, realization, and Go Live of customer projects.
  • Plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops and meetings with clients.
  • Define project scope, estimate efforts, and timelines.
  • Analyze business processes, perform root cause analysis, and optimize technical performance.
  • Handle SAP system upgrades and migrations, including SAP HANA installations and transitions to hyperscalers.
  • Plan large-scale transformation programs from a technical perspective.
Mandatory Skills
  • At least 10 years of SAP Technology implementation or support experience.
  • Extensive experience with SAP ABAP and JAVA-based NetWeaver systems.
  • University degree in computer science, business information technology, or related fields.
  • Experience in performance analysis, databases, hardware, networks, and migration planning.
  • Proficiency in SAP HANA installation, upgrades, migrations, and working with RDBMS like MSSQL, Oracle, or DB2.
  • Programming skills in ABAP, JAVA, C, C++, SQL, or similar.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and communicate effectively in an international environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Linux and Unix.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or conversions.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like SAP HEC, MS Azure, AWS.
  • Knowledge of landscape sizing and design.
  • Experience managing escalations and critical customer situations.

Travel is expected up to 70% to client sites.
