Site Supervisor

Location: Kempton Park, Johannesburg

Salary: R25 - R35 Per Month (Based On Experience)

Mobile Racking and Shelving business seeks a Site Supervisor who is competent to install and maintain mobile racking systems in warehouses.

The ideal candidate must be able to handle both the electrical and mechanical aspects of these installations.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Liaise with clients to maintain and improve service levels
2. Perform site inspections independently and report findings
3. Conduct repairs and maintenance of new and existing systems
4. Manage and plan new installations
5. Respond to breakdowns
6. Train and supervise assistants as necessary

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Recognisable technical qualifications - RED SEAL Electrician
• Minimum 5 years working experience as a RED SEAL Electrician
• PLC experience advantageous
• Experience in fault finding and working unsupervised
• Problem-solving skills
• Physical and medical fitness to work in cold environments at -20°C
• Ability to work at heights
• Ability to read electrical drawings (experience advantageous)
• Willing to work weekends when required
• Disciplined with attention to detail, following procedures
• Ability to perform administrative duties, including reporting, quoting, and inspection documentation
• Ability to complete project work in accordance with schedules
• Valid Code EC or EC1 driver’s license
• Valid and updated passport
• Clear criminal record
