Job description

Job Description: Chief Technology Officer

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will drive technological innovation and transformation within the organization, leading Agile teams and innovation initiatives. This role involves overseeing the PMO function, supporting digital business transformation by identifying emerging trends and technologies, and evolving the Enterprise Architecture to support new platforms and digital services. The CTO will report directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Key Performance Areas:

  1. Develop and lead the technology strategy to oversee the adoption of new technologies.
  2. Establish a technological vision and lead the organization's technological development.
  3. Define requirements for acquiring technology applications, services, systems, and equipment; negotiate and manage vendor contracts.
  4. Manage the innovation process from ideation to successful implementation.
  5. Lead product and engineering teams in developing new products and enhancing existing ones.
  6. Develop and monitor annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing, and operations.
  7. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and senior management.
  8. Communicate effectively to ensure technology is developed and utilized optimally.
  9. Collaborate with business owners and the CIO to align technology solutions with business needs.
  10. Assist executive management in adopting innovative technologies to improve efficiency and performance.
