  • 5 years’ demonstrated experience in the applications associated with manufacturing operations, maintenance and quality
  • 5 years’ demonstrated experience in people management
  • 3 years’ demonstrated experience in utilising the modern production process controls such as PLC and SCADA
  • 3 years’ demonstrated experience in fault finding on automation processes
  • Experince in managing people in a Assembly Production plant
  • Good understanding of the the end-to-end production process
  • Production Management in a chemical assembly plant
  • Understanding of Sherq principles

, Duties,

Deliver production targets as per the schedule within the agreed budget and compliance specifications

  • Ensure that the resources provided (Plant, process, people and material) are optimally utilised to meet the minimum schedule
  • Ensure that during production, all minimum legal safety, quality and operational requirements, including minimum training standards, are continuously met
  • To monitor daily output, quality and safety objectives, and direct corrective action.
  • If needed, take direct control of production processes to correct product output/quality adherence as and when required to achieve daily targets.
  • Managing usage variances against agreed standards
  • Drive high safety, quality, and compliance standards, ensuring all employees understand policies and their responsibilities.

Quality Leadership - Quality products produced to product specification

  • Adhere to and comply with the stipulated process control parameters to ensure compliance with the provided quality procedures and that all products released for sale comply with the minimum quality specifications.
  • Conduct the required inspection and compliance verification management to achieve the above.
  • Drive quality performance, oversee root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Champion a quality-first mindset across all functions. Set high expectations for product integrity, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure quality management systems (QMS) are implemented, maintained, and continuously improved per ISO or other relevant standards.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments to ensure timely inspection, testing, and release of materials and finished goods.
  • Lead the resolution of quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints. Oversee robust root cause analysis and implement practical corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure processes are stable, capable, and aligned with quality specifications. Promote the use of statistical tools and quality metrics for monitoring performance.
  • Prepare for and lead internal and external quality audits (e.g., regulatory, customer, third-party), ensuring full compliance and continuous improvement of audit findings.
  • Ensure all employees are trained in quality standards and procedures relevant to their roles. Reinforce accountability for quality at all levels.

Champion and manage the Management of Change (MoC) process

  • To ensure risk mitigation and operational consistency
  • Ensure ownership of the MoC Process that impacts people, processes, equipment, materials, or systems within the plant by ensuring that all proposed changes are evaluated for potential safety, environmental, quality, and operational risks before implementation.
  • Ensure all MoC documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies, legal standards, and industry regulations.
  • Ensure proper communication of changes clearly to all affected personnel and ensure proper training and understanding before implementation.
  • Monitor the execution of changes to ensure they are carried out as planned and within the approved parameters.
  • Lead follow-up reviews to assess the effectiveness of changes, identify any unintended consequences, and drive continuous improvement.

Communication

  • Production Reporting without delay and timely reporting, report any instances as agreed with management regarding risks related to safety, short supply and other operational incidents related to production or product availability.
  • Ensure that all plant reports (as included in the agreed KPA’s) are submitted periodically to management as and when required, e.g. Compliance deviations (schedule, safety, quality, incidents, ER & HR related issues)
  • Clearly articulate the plant’s vision, goals, priorities, and expectations.
  • Ensure alignment across all functions through regular briefings and team meetings.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor, encourage open dialogue, and actively listen to employee feedback and concerns. Address issues constructively and promptly.
  • Effectively lead communication during organisational or operational changes, ensuring all stakeholders understand the “why,” “what,” and “how” of any transformation.
  • Act as a communication bridge between production, quality, maintenance, safety, HR, and logistics teams.
  • Facilitate collaboration to prevent silos and misunderstandings.
  • Lead transparent communication during safety incidents, quality issues, or disruptions.
  • Ensure accurate information is conveyed swiftly and professionally.
  • Regularly share performance metrics, progress toward KPIs, and business updates and communicate areas for improvement.
  • Model practical communication skills for frontline leaders.
  • Provide feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to strengthen team communication.

People Management

  • Inspire, lead, and motivate a diverse team including supervisors, operators, technicians, and support staff. Communicate a clear vision and foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and results.
  • Identify skills gaps, mentor future leaders, and ensure training and development programs are in place to support career growth and plant capability.
