Job description

Duties : Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on diesel engines and related componentsConduct routine inspections of vehicles and machinery to ensure proper operationTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and provide solutions for repairReplace faulty components, such as fuel pumps, filters, and turbochargersEnsure all repairs comply with safety and regulatory standardsMaintain a clean and organized work areaKeep accurate records of maintenance work and parts usedRespond to breakdowns and provide on-site repairs when necessaryWork effectively with the team to ensure timely vehicle repairs and minimize downtimeRequirements : Certification in Diesel Mechanics or related fieldsExperience with hydraulic and electrical systemsPrior experience in a transport or logistics environmentMinimum 3-5 years proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel engine systems in Automotive industryExperience in repairing and maintaining large commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailersAbility to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issuesStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressureA valid driver's license, with a clean driving recordAbility to work overtime and be on standby as requiredStrong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanshipExcellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitudeAutomotive Industry experience ESSENTIAL!
