We are looking for an experienced Counter Sales Consultant for our Energy Division at our Richmond Park, Cape Town office.
The purpose of this role is to fulfil a counter sales support function to existing and potential customers.
Counter Sales Consultant Responsibilities
Manage and interpret customer requirements – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and working with customers on Counter sales
Prepare Quotes, Sales Orders. Follow up on quotes, sales orders, and backorder reports.
Maintain awareness of pertinent client information, payment performance; communicate all client information that may affect company decisions to appropriate departments as required
Develop profitable and sustainable sales growth through engagement with current and potential customers within the assigned sales region
Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
Close and grow sales through professional communication and interaction with current and potential customers and provide exemplary customer service throughout the sales cycle
Establish and maintain productive, long term professional relationships with current and potential customers.
Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively
Maintain records of customer communications and contact information as required through Hubspot

Role Requirements Are
At Minimum a Matric/NQF4 equivalent
Proven track record of at least 1-2 yrs counter sales or frontline sales experience
Engineering technical sales background an advantage
Computer literate with advanced Excel skills
Working knowledge of NetSuite Oracle ERP (preferred)
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Presentable and professional
