We are seeking a Data & AI Capability Lead to be based in Sandton / Stellenbosch South Africa . This is a pivotal leadership position within the companys global analytics function. As the advocate for analytics capability building you will play an instrumental role in designing and implementing upskilling programs driving data literacy initiatives and enhancing analytics maturity across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to work at a global level influencing key stakeholders and helping to establish the company as a leader in the analytics space.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analytics Capability Building : Design and manage a comprehensive analytics upskilling program for employees at all levels from executives to the broader workforce.
- Data Literacy Initiatives : Lead efforts to increase the organizations proficiency in analytics through tailored data literacy programs.
- Strategic Communication : Develop and implement communication strategies to promote analytics products team accomplishments and market trends through internal channels (newsletters workplace) and external platforms (LinkedIn conferences).
- Analytics Maturity : Create and manage an analytics maturity assessment tool and action plan to raise the maturity levels of operating companies (OpCos) regions and global teams.
- AI Capability Knowledge Exchange : Develop and oversee a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration on AI across the organization establishing standards for documentation and governance structures.
- Leadership and Influence : Lead crossfunctional teams mentor talent and collaborate with senior management to align analytics initiatives with broader business objectives.
Requirements :
- Minimum 10 years of experience in digital & analytics transformation communication consulting or related fields with leadership experience in transformation roles.
- Proven success in designing and implementing analytics capability building programs and data literacy initiatives across large organizations.
- Extensive experience leading crossfunctional teams and managing complex global projects.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences including senior executives.
- Expertise in developing and executing communication strategies that promote a datadriven culture.
- Strategic thinking skills with a focus on longterm planning to enhance analytics capabilities.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of influencing and driving change across global and crossfunctional teams.
