Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / National Diploma in Sales / Business Development / Marketing
- Matric (Senior Certificate)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Min 10 Years’ Solid Experience in Business Development, Market Trends & Best Practices within the Marketing / Sales Environment
- Strong Sales & Marketing Knowledge (Ideally in the Services Industry), Negotiation Skills, Project Management, Commercial Acumen
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a team of sales specialists who actively search, pursue, and engage potential clients within the Cleaning Services, Technical Services, and Bundled Services across all key sectors/verticals.
- Manage the compilation and, where necessary, draft high-quality proposals, bids, and tender responses.
- Develop sales budgets in accordance with marketing and sales strategy.
- Achieve sales budgets and targets.
- Implement and manage strategic initiatives to ensure that annual growth targets are met and exceeded to increase market share.
- Plan, develop, and implement effective marketing, branding, and communication strategies and campaigns.
- Re-assess and standardize existing and new contract costs and margins.
- Manage the quality and standards of all marketing collateral, bids, proposals, presentations, and communications across all media formats, including brochures, letters, emails, websites, and social media, in collaboration with the Marketing Department.
- Recommend creative and effective selling techniques based on market research and analysis.
- Monitor and manage ongoing spending against the budget, maintaining accurate records and highlighting variances.
- Analyze statistics and surveys to inform strategy.
- Uphold good business ethics and portray a positive company image.
- Identify new growth opportunities by market segments.
- Provide comprehensive sales and marketing reports monthly and quarterly.
