Job description

A 5-month contract opportunity is now open for a skilled Financial Accountant to play a pivotal role in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis. Responsibilities:

• Preparing and processing recurring and non-recurring journals
• Reconciling general ledger accounts
• Analysing discrepancies, variances, and providing corrective actions
• Managing VAT and tax filings, and ensuring statutory compliance
• Assisting with audits and preparing supporting documentation
• Maintaining fixed asset and tax asset registers, including IFRS 16 adjustments
• Performing month-end tasks and intercompany confirmations
• Supporting the Financial Manager with reporting and projects as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 Years experience in a similar role
• Proficient in statutory returns and audit preparation
• Experience in fixed asset management
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
