RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sales Manager for a well-established concern, with the position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

Requirements

1. Grade 12
2. Relevant qualification(s)
3. Valid driver's license / own reliable vehicle
4. Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet)
5. 5+ years experience in a similar position; 3+ years should be in a retail environment and product sales; preferably in the tyre / automotive industry

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement the Sales strategy to achieve revenue and sales targets
2. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing trends
3. Seek out and target new customers and sales opportunities; initiate action plans to approach and secure new business for the company
4. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers
5. Handle administration functions such as credit notes, cash up, invoicing, quotations, and receiving cash
6. Manage products and services
7. Manage staff including performance management
8. Manage relationships with suppliers
9. Have basic legislative knowledge of OHS, LRA, BCEA
10. Understand contract implications and conditions
11. Interact with customers and resolve complaints
