Line Manager: Regional Sales Manager

Job Specification
Key Performance Areas:
  1. Achievement of monthly sales, volume, and margin targets.
  2. Providing superior customer service to existing clients through a structured call cycle based on regional criteria.
  3. Influencing and positively affecting in-cup quality and delivery via on-site beverage solutions, including customer audits, machine calibration, operational training, and corrective actions.
  4. Identifying gaps and opportunities within the customer base to leverage the basket offered by the NBL Group for value propositions.
  5. Implementing effective point-of-sale placements to grow brand awareness and consumption.
  6. Verifying all customer asset equipment annually.
  7. Utilizing business intelligence resources to grow sales volumes.
  8. Executing group customer plans, rollouts, and launching new products and equipment.
  9. Developing a targeted list of new prospects collaboratively with the Sales Manager and customer service team across all categories and channels.
  10. Providing a forecast for new installations and prospective customers.
  11. Achieving the fiscal year's growth forecast.
  12. Completing new business development, including initial contact, needs assessment, tailored proposals, and guiding implementation.
  13. Ensuring commercial viability of agreements with target prospects.
  14. Participating in installations and customer solutions training on the day of installation.
  15. Monitoring progress through monthly one-on-one meetings and structured tracking against targets.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a sales role within the Out of Home (OOH) market, with a proven track record in new business development.
  • Experience in cold calling and prospecting.
  • Strong knowledge of specialty coffee.
  • Experience with beverage system solutions.
  • Basic commercial understanding.
Special Requirements:
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel extensively.
  • Capability to offer tailored solutions within the Business and Industry (B&I) channel.
  • Ability to work effectively with regional management teams.
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination.
