Marketing Manager Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of the marketing team and oversee their daily activities.
  2. Delegate marketing activities/tasks to supervisors, including project assignments, presentations, and proposals.
  3. Evaluate financial aspects of product development, including budgets, expenditures, and research.
  4. Measure data accuracy and processing efficiency, including error rates and data retrieval times.
  5. Develop and manage budgets for branding and marketing efforts, and compile reports for senior management.
  6. Manage relationships with marketing suppliers and vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  7. Coordinate market research studies, analyze findings, and report on market opportunities.
  8. Analyze sales data to update brand portfolios and assess product performance.
  9. Oversee content management and information sharing across departments and external partners.
  10. Manage external marketing partners such as agencies and digital marketing firms.
  11. Develop and execute brand management plans, ensuring consistency and standards compliance.
  12. Manage digital marketing presence and utilize digital/public relations platforms.
  13. Provide marketing support and insights to sales and marketing teams.
  14. Oversee marketing activities for specific brands and manage related communications.
  15. Write reports, creative briefs, and specifications.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Analytics or related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years management experience as a Marketing Manager, Events Manager, or Project Manager.
  • Strong understanding of current marketing and PR trends, ATL and BTL marketing experience.
  • Strategic planning and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in sponsorship and public relations is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide.
