Job description

Exports : Receive international enquiries, investigate destinations, and find solutions to get the shipment to the client.

Imports : Receive orders and ensure that all processes are followed to get stock to our warehouses. Investigate foreign country requirements and liaise with various supply chain operational divisions within the company and externally (warehouse, manufacturing, planners, and transport operators).

Must ensure and oversee the smooth dispatch and import of shipments from point A to point B. Communicate with the product management teams to determine if we can supply and import products as required. Collaborate with various business units to ensure efficient processes, considering various risks.

Quote customers promptly and, once official orders are received, instruct administrators to process the sales orders.

Get quotes for import shipments when needed. Ensure smooth dispatch and import of shipments on time. Be knowledgeable about software to track, check, prioritize, and route orders.

Manage all import documents such as advanced shipping notices, bills of lading, and understand letters of credit, country requirements, and regulations. Ensure all costs are investigated, and shipping arrangements are made within budget.

Effectively manage the shipping department employees. Guide admin on regulations and documentation required. Ensure compliance with all statutory, company policies, and SHEQ policies and practices.
