Job description

Manage mines, buyers, agents, and suppliers in Africa for product marketing and sales. Collaborating with Project Managers to secure contracts by introducing chemicals in the design phase.

Required Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemistry, Engineering or similar.
  • 2+ years of Africa Mining Sales experience.

POSITION INFO:

Technical Competencies & Experience:

  • Driver's license, valid passport, and ability to travel to Africa.
  • Ability to interpret large mining contracts and metallurgy reports.
  • Knowledge of flotation of Sulphide-based Ores, Metallurgy and Mineralogy reports.
  • Understanding of FOREX, incoterms and customs.
  • Ability to manage development plans, budgets, and sales targets.
  • Understanding of market trends, product contribution, and cost of sales.
  • Familiarity with OHS Act 1983, MHI, EIA, and ISO standards.
  • Familiarity with regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to be proactive and multi-task.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Analytical Thinking.
  • Goal directed and excellent organizational skills.
  • Accurate and diligent.
