Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business related qualification.
Relevant in-person experience in selling technical products.
Aviation, pilot, engineering, or maintenance experience is preferable.
Proficiency in problem solving.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willing to travel when required.
Ability to work with numerical figures accurately.
Understanding of P&L Account.
Management skills would be advantageous.
Responsibilities and expectations (but not limited to):
Assist in maintaining and expanding the sales growth in all channels at new and existing accounts for new and retreaded aviation tyres in SA and SSA through the following channels: Commercial, Regional and General Aviation, and airlines, additionally to wheel and brake shops, and maintenance repair organisations.
Account management activities in relation to maintaining and growing sales and the business required to protect the interest of the company, ensuring regular key accounts, accounts, and end-user contact and communication with key purchasing, engineering, maintenance, finance departments, and other relevant departments.
Assist in the development and execution of the annual plan, targeting market share growth in all sales channels within the SA and SSA Region. Assist in securing the accurate planning of information for distributors, customers, airlines, end users, and potential new customers alongside the global supply chain for demand needs and requirements.
Assist in managing customer enquiries, complaints, and requested information. Analyzing forecasting of the region and competitive marketplace evaluations. Assist in executing administrative and logistic tasks, follow-up on orders within Aviation. Coordinate and liaise with product support, Aviation administrator, and logistic team to determine service and tyre support and maintenance execution.
Ensure tyre care and maintenance training is provided when required. Annual collection of data of fleet surveys, product performance, and/or quality issues. Ensure all issues are addressed promptly. Involvement in pricing and brand building.
