Job description

The Occupational Health Nurse Manager is responsible for the continued development, administration, and implementation of an efficient and professional Occupational Health service. This includes Occupational Health facility management, IPC, data management, auditing, process flow, training, and quality of services delivered by the Occupational health staff (i.e. nurses, technicians, and administrative teams - 30+ staff).

The Requirements
  1. A relevant nursing qualification (Diploma / Degree in nursing)
  2. Degree / Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing
  3. Registered with GNC of Zambia or SANC
  4. Minimum 5 years’ experience (in a leadership position) within an Occupational Health Department - preferably within mining
  5. Current valid certification in Audiometry, Spirometry, and Vision screening
  6. Qualification or experience in HSE is preferred

Our client operates a number of clinics on the copper belt in northern Zambia. This is a 2-year contract with all expenses paid (flights, accommodation, cellphone). This is an ideal vacancy for a single candidate who can devote his/her time to this fantastic opportunity. Successful candidates will need to arrange passport, criminal clearances, and university/college transcripts as a matter of urgency at their own cost.
