My client is looking for an outstanding Business Intelligence candidate with broad technical skills to build analytic and reporting capabilities. The goal is to deliver strategic analytical and reporting projects, define and produce end-to-end metrics that inform product and business decisions, and identify new opportunities through data-driven insights.

My client in healthcare administration is seeking to employ a

Head of Department (HOD): Business Intelligence. You will be responsible for:

  1. Exhibiting excellent leadership skills
  2. Organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize workload
  3. Data analysis and storytelling
  4. Creating presentations
  5. Maintaining a strategic and analytical mindset
  6. Using initiative; being a self-starter
  7. High attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  8. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate, negotiate, and influence across the organization and externally
  9. Experience in reporting, data extraction, data mining, data modeling, and predictive modeling
  10. Exposure to the medical scheme administration environment is an added advantage

Requirements:

  1. Professional qualification / Honours Degree (in Statistics, Actuarial Science, SQL, or Data Science)
  2. Demonstrated ability to interact with business customers, gather requirements, and deliver complete, scalable, and sustainable BI solutions
  3. At least 5 years of experience in a similar field
