The Job

Job Advertisement: Bookkeeper

Join Our Team as a Bookkeeper! We are seeking an organized and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Bookkeeper within our group of companies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bookkeeping up to balance sheet (cashbook processing and journals).
2. Bank and GL reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
3. Managing logbooks for company vehicles.
4. VAT and EMP reconciliation and submission.
5. Year-end closure and preparation of annual audit files.
6. Creditors function, including monthly credit runs.
7. Capturing purchase orders and general financial/administrative duties.

The Profile Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
2. 1-2 years of Operations Management experience.
3. Fruit industry or FMCG knowledge (desirable).
4. Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to excel in a high-pressure environment.
6. At least 5 years experience within a Bookkeeper role, ideally within the Manufacturing industry.
7. Working knowledge of General Ledger, Balance Sheet, SysPro, Bookkeeping, and National Diploma.
8. A strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders.
9. Possesses strong analytical skills and is comfortable dealing with numerical data.
10. Adaptable and thrives in changing environments.
