Overview

Join our client in the Automotive Manufacturing industry as a Battery Quality Inspector. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a background in quality testing or inspection.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  1. Checking battery OCV with a voltmeter.
  2. Verifying skewness and label types according to master references.
  3. Inspecting the condition of battery terminals.
  4. Ensuring excellent eyesight and attention to detail.
  5. Lifting batteries weighing 15 to 20kgs.
  6. Identifying engraved codes on batteries.
  7. Using computer skills to compile reports and spreadsheets, including basic data analysis.
  8. Communicating fluently in English across various levels of the business.
Requirements

Minimum Matric qualification with Math and Science subjects. N3 or N6 in electrical or chemical studies, or similar qualifications, are advantageous. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality testing or inspecting environment. Own transport and a valid driver's license are required.
