MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: To deliver safe, basic nursing care according to Scope of Practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. Deliver basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
2. Identify, prevent, and report risks to ensure patient safety.
3. Contribute to a positive patient experience by assisting in the creation of a therapeutic environment.
4. Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
5. Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
6. Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charted.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Essential: Higher certificate in nursing (or equivalent).
• Desired: Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses for specific specialty areas.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Essential minimum: None.
• Desired: 1 year post qualification experience.
