Job Title: Maintenance Production Manager

Location: Caribbean (Relocation Opportunity Available)

About the Company:

A leading Caribbean-based manufacturer and supplier of building and construction materials, the company has expanded into the production of Expanded Metal, Chain Link Fencing, Wire Rods, BRC Fabric, Nails, and a range of roofing profiles in Alu-Zinc and Galvanized materials. Their diverse inventory includes artistic metal forgings, lumber, cement, plyboard, and an expanding line of plumbing fixtures, doors, electrical cables, and more.

They are seeking a technically skilled, hands-on Maintenance Production Manager to join their operations and help lead continuous improvement and maintenance excellence across all manufacturing lines.

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Production Manager will oversee maintenance operations for all plant equipment and systems. This role is critical in ensuring equipment uptime, safety, and efficiency, and will require a strong combination of technical expertise and leadership skills. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Caribbean and thrive in a dynamic, hands-on manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the maintenance and production support teams.
  • Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Collaborate with production teams to align maintenance activities with operational goals.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and asset performance.
  • Ensure all work is compliant with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Manage budgets for maintenance operations, spare parts, and capital improvements.

Requirements:

  • Technical background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior maintenance or production management role in manufacturing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with heavy industrial equipment and production machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, and leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Open to relocation to the Caribbean.
  • Prior international or regional experience is a strong advantage.
