We are looking for a strong Functional Financial Consultant to join our projects team within Decision Inc.
Our functional consultant will provide functional and technical consulting services, deliver successful implementation and support for Microsoft software projects with a high level of client satisfaction. Good communication skills are essential, and strong technical ability is advantageous.
There will be exposure to a wide range of industries, so the ability to quickly understand new business environments is crucial.

What Will You Do?
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide sales support when needed, working closely with the sales team to assist prospective companies in their Microsoft technology assessment by understanding their business strategies, processes, desired outcomes, and success factors.
- Present tailored demonstrations of technology solutions.
- Develop statements of work and scope documents.
- Participate in RFI, RFP, or RFQ processes.
- Perform on-site consulting services for implementation projects, including:
- Implementing Microsoft Software.
- Leading or participating in requirement analysis workshops.
- Understanding, communicating, and documenting business processes and requirements.
- Using Microsoft implementation standards and tools.
- Creating design specifications and gap/fit analysis documentation.
- Collaborating with technical teams on design, testing, and implementation of customizations.
- Participating in quality assurance processes.
- Providing end-user training and support.
Assist Project Manager as required, perform ongoing support services via email, phone, remote support, and on-site visits.Proactively participate in strategic discussions, prepare scoping documents and quotations, and implement proposals upon client acceptance.Fulfill SLA requirements, provide upgrade information, and assist in upgrade planning and execution.Perform administrative functions, documenting services using internal systems and templates.Maintain product knowledge through certifications and awareness of upcoming releases.Investigate and recommend new technologies and products, including third-party solutions.Mentor team members as needed.Who Do You Need to Be?
- Relevant Degree.
- Minimum 5 years of consulting experience and 3 years of product experience.
- Participation in at least 3 go-live data conversions, upgrades, or full cycle implementations.
- Experience within a consulting service environment.
- Knowledge of service offerings like Business Intelligence, Enterprise Performance Management, or Business Productivity Solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
- Ability to manage relationships with clients and team members effectively.
- Excellent planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Passion and ambition to deliver on strategic goals.
- Understanding of how to leverage technology to enhance business.
- Relational thinking skills.
- Experience in Customer and Employee Engagement is a plus.
