Activity :
  1. Management of allocated projects with external resources such as contractors, equipment suppliers, consultants, and approvals and inspections by local authorities.
  2. Organization: Engineering as a service provider to operations and marketing departments.
  3. Legal and HSEQ: Ensure compliance with local and group regulations and standards.
As a Project Engineer, you would be responsible for:
  1. Overseeing depots, service stations, and commercial customer installations—construction and engineering.
  2. Conducting project feasibility studies, preparing documentation, drawings, and recommendations.
  3. Submitting and obtaining approvals from national and local authorities, including MOC documentation.
  4. Guiding draftsmen or consultants in preparing construction drawings.
  5. Negotiating equipment supply and engineering contracts with service providers, in collaboration with the purchasing division.
  6. Planning, organizing, controlling, and executing field construction activities within the specified time and budget.
  7. Ensuring incorporation of local legislation, group standards, and best practices into all projects.
  8. Monitoring and evaluating project scope variations and associated costs.
  9. Providing regular project updates to the Technical Manager, including explanations for delays.
  10. Managing project documentation, preparing monthly expenditure reports, posting assets under construction, and controlling legal, municipal, and EIA approvals for legal and safety compliance.
  11. Ensuring safety regulations are followed on-site, and handling urgent operations like equipment replacement and safety issues.
  12. Performing asset inspections, conducting annual technical visits, and developing recommendations.
  13. Ensuring preventive maintenance according to schedules.
  14. Conducting audits and quality inspections to ensure standards compliance.
  15. Managing maintenance contracts in line with SLA agreements and handling outside work (e.g., NEMO).
  16. Anticipating investments for equipment replacement to improve availability and reduce costs.
  17. Advising clients on technical and regulatory obligations, and estimating upgrade costs.
  18. Managing budgets, purchase orders, and invoice payments.
  19. Maintaining good internal and external customer relations.
  20. Participating in asset sales, site dismantling, and remediation activities.
  21. Updating technical and asset data, and analyzing audit reports for corrective actions.
  22. Training site operators on equipment use and housekeeping.
  23. Supporting Business Performance Reviews and managing the Asset Under Construction (AUC) process.
HSSE:
  1. Managing and minimizing HSE risks by ensuring compliance with policies, rules, and legal requirements.
  2. Promoting a safe working environment and contributing to HSE KPIs and risk reduction strategies.
  3. Enforcing HSE competency requirements within the area of responsibility.
Qualifications:
  1. B.Sc. or B.Tech in electrical, mechanical, civil engineering, or relevant field.
  2. Minimum 3 to 7 years of relevant experience, especially in project management from start to finish.
  3. Technical expertise in applying technical know-how.
  4. High autonomy, problem-solving skills, and workload management capabilities.
  5. Proactive, available, with clear communication skills in English.
  6. Ability to work within a team comprising customers, purchasers, and head-office teams.
