Our reputable and established Waste Management company is seeking a Project Coordinator to join their dynamic Enterprise team.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of multiple projects, overseeing administrative and logistical aspects to contribute to successful project completion.
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, hardworking, approachable, and engaging professional capable of managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, demonstrating maturity, positivity, humility, and patience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities :
- Business Administration :
- Responding to telephonic requests and inquiries.
- Drafting and emailing correspondence across multiple platforms.
- Reviewing and filtering applications, submitting to relevant departments.
- Flagging or escalating issues raised.
- Providing administrative support to the Projects Team.
- Managing travel arrangements for the Projects Team.
- Coordinating accounts with key service providers.
- Managing filing systems, including One Drive.
- Obtaining quotations and invoices, communicating with service providers.
- Reviewing and submitting financial documentation to finance.
- Managing databases for stakeholders, suppliers, servers.
- Maintaining financial stakeholder and supplier records.
- Taking detailed minutes, capturing action points, producing high-quality reports, circulating to attendees, and following up.
- Scanning and filing invoices and expense claims electronically.
- Coordinating consumables, PPE, signage, and stock management.
- Ensuring effective communication with suppliers.
- Managing and updating company databases, stock levels, and replenishment orders.
- Coordinating procurement of project deliverables.
- Maintaining confidentiality of organizational information.
- Collecting reporting data from project partners, identifying issues, and supporting solutions.
- Preparing equipment for training sessions.
General :
- Maintaining excellent communication and relationships with vendors, employees, and management.
- Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to improve systems.
- Performing other ad hoc tasks as needed.
Qualifications Needed :
- Matric certification minimum.
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, or related fields.
- Strong command of English and understanding of an African language or languages.
- At least 2-3 years of proven project or business administration experience, preferably in sustainability, waste management, recycling, plastics manufacturing, environmental, logistics, IT, or related industries.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (including pivot tables and SUM functions) and database management.
- Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of data management.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle.
- Willingness to travel to rural areas.
