The Perdeberg Group, situated in the Paarl Wine region and renowned for its innovation, dedication to excellence & multi-award winning wine portfolio, has the above position available for a talented and experienced Front of House Manager to join their team & help deliver outstanding service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant & tasting room front-of-house, ensuring exceptional customer service & maintaining a positive & efficient work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of restaurant operations, & the ability to foster a culture of teamwork & excellence.
KPA's will include: *Leadership & Team Management (recruit, train, & supervise front-of-house staff, including waiters, runners & hostess) *Customer experience *Operations management *FOH budget & financial responsibilities *All other tasks related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Diploma and/or certificate in Hotel Management/Hospitality Management, WSET or CWA qualification;
• 3–5 years’ proven experience in a front-of-house leadership role within a restaurant or similar hospitality environment;
• Knowledge of wine & a passion for the wine industry is highly preferred;
• Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans & English);
• Proficiency in MS Office, restaurant management software, and point-of-sale systems;
• Driver’s license & own reliable transport;
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends & public holidays.
