Our client, currently benchmarking the packaging industry, has a Next-Step-Opportunity for an experienced Electrical / Electronic Technician.

Role Overview

This role involves installing, replacing, examining, repairing, and testing all electrical and electronic machinery and components. The candidate should have a solid understanding of machine safety components and high risks present in and around the production plant.

Responsibilities

1. Installation, maintenance, and repairs on fast-moving production machinery
2. Machine optimisation
3. Planned preventative maintenance
4. Ensuring production efficiency

Requirements

1. Higher National Diploma / B-Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering
2. Red Seal Trade Test – Electrician
3. Minimum 4 years' experience on fast-moving production machinery
4. Knowledge of PLC Programming
5. Valid SA Driver's License and own transport
