Job description

Our group practice at our Mondia Vereeniging facility in Vereeniging is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their team.

An occupational therapist (OT) working in a mental health environment plays a crucial role in helping individuals with mental health conditions achieve their maximum potential in daily living and community participation.

Day-to-day responsibilities include assessments, group therapy sessions, individual sessions where indicated, and patient meetings. Inter-disciplinary teamwork is essential to our daily activities.

Requirements, Experience, and Qualifications/Training
  • BSc Occupational Therapy (community service year completed)
  • Maintain CPD standing as required by HPCSA
  • Registered with HPCSA (independent practitioner & INSTOPP/OTASA Membership and Malpractice Insurance)
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport
  • Relevant experience in Mental Health/Addiction environment is advantageous
