Associate Director Supplier Relationships & Consulting Sales

Role Purpose

Manages senior relationships with various suppliers to deliver agreed-upon data standards and expectations. Consults with suppliers to provide insights and sell-back content, aiming to improve data quality and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Negotiations and Contracts
  2. Negotiate and renegotiate data supplier contracts.
  3. Investigate and source potential new data suppliers.
  4. Implement feedback services to barter data fees and reduce costs, increasing EBITA.
  1. Supplier Relations
  2. Maintain regular contact with data suppliers to manage relationships.
  3. Coordinate supplier requests and manage supplier payments.
Data Supply and Team Management

Support internal teams with data supply information, strategy, and payments. Drive setup activities for new data suppliers, including FTP feeds, training, and commercial alignment.

Business Development

Develop strategies to expand existing contracts and identify new opportunities. Lead negotiations for multi-year contracts and oversee their implementation.

Supplier Insights and Market Analysis

Provide analytical insights through feedback reports tailored to suppliers' needs. Offer monthly insights to unlock additional consulting income. Engage with pharma clients to identify new data requirements and develop new audits.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare.
  • Training in negotiation skills is advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector with successful senior-level negotiations.
  • Market Access, Commercial Pharmaceutical, FMCG experience.
  • Strong understanding of supply/logistics in pharma and consumer health.
  • Excellent account management, communication, organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and possess industry knowledge.
