Job Overview: As a Waiter/Waitress at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide attentive and personalized service, ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable dining experience in our world-class restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Service:
    1. Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
    2. Provide menu recommendations and describe specials, taking note of any dietary restrictions or preferences.
    3. Take orders accurately and promptly, ensuring attention to detail.
    4. Serve food and beverages with precision and according to the established standards of the resort.
  2. Product Knowledge:
    1. Possess in-depth knowledge of the menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
    2. Stay updated on any menu changes or additions and communicate these to guests when necessary.
    3. Be able to make informed suggestions based on guest preferences and dietary requirements.
  3. Table Maintenance:
    1. Ensure the cleanliness and proper setup of tables before, during, and after service.
    2. Monitor and anticipate guest needs, replenishing beverages, and clearing dishes promptly.
    3. Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless coordination of service.
  4. Upselling and Revenue Generation:
    1. Promote special offers, promotions, and upsell additional menu items to enhance the guest experience and contribute to revenue goals.
    2. Provide information on the resort's loyalty program and encourage guest participation.
  5. Team Collaboration:
    1. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
    2. Communicate effectively with colleagues to relay guest preferences or special requests.
