Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience as a Stock Controller in the automotive retail industry.
• Proficient in dealership management systems like Automate, Autoline, or Drive.
• Knowledge of dealership stock and sales policies.

• Accurately invoice vehicles and maintain stock records.
• Create and manage purchase orders for vehicle reconditioning.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.

Job description

Are you an experienced Stock Controller with a passion for precision and the automotive industry? Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join their dynamic dealership team and help them maintain the highest standards of inventory control and compliance.

Job Overview :

Provide administrative support to the sales team through accurate stock control, vehicle invoicing, and documentation. Maintain up-to-date records, ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards, and facilitate smooth stock-related processes in line with brand and dealership operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Accurately invoice vehicles and maintain stock records using dealership systems.
• Ensure prompt stock entries for new, used, trade-in, and buy-in vehicles.
• Create and manage purchase orders for vehicle reconditioning and accessories.
• Match supplier invoices with costings and ensure financial accuracy.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
• Maintain complete, compliant deal files and handle licensing documentation.
• Support demo fleet control and manage stock audits.
• Collaborate effectively with Sales Executives, Sales Managers, and service providers.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience :

• Matric Certificate (essential).
• 2–3 years’ experience as a Stock Controller in the automotive retail industry.
• Proficient in dealership management systems such as Automate , Autoline , or Drive ; BMW system experience is advantageous .
• Knowledge of dealership stock and sales policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in the retail automotive sector.
