Our client is seeking an experienced Solar O&M Technician to join their Industrial department.
This role is suitable for a proactive individual with a strong technical background in solar operations and maintenance, aiming to contribute to efficient solar installations and maintenance projects.
Responsibilities
- Technical Support and Product Management
- Monitor and review system performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare performance reports and recommend system upgrades or enhancements.
- Provide troubleshooting support for complex issues and escalate when necessary.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials to ensure smooth technical processes.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for product improvements and collaborate with R&D for product enhancements.
- Manage the lifecycle of solar products, ensuring timely updates and rollouts.
Customer Service- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Proactively follow up with clients to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Log, track, and resolve customer complaints or service issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback, preparing satisfaction reports and identifying areas for improvement.
O&M Scheduling & Implementation- Develop and coordinate detailed schedules for regular maintenance tasks.
- Oversee execution of preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Ensure tools and equipment are available for maintenance tasks.
- Monitor progress and update stakeholders on task completion.
Maintenance- Develop and manage maintenance project plans and timelines.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability.
- Prepare completion reports and ensure maintenance documentation is current.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Trade Tested.
- Advantageous: Wireman's Licence.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in Solar O&M; 5 years preferred in Solar O&M or related fields.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of solar system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, SOPs, technical processes, and customer service feedback collection.
- Knowledge of scheduling and overseeing maintenance tasks.
