Job description

To ensure effective merchandising of clients’ products at store level and to maintain call cycles, i.e., the number of liquor stores, shebeens, and restaurants visited within specified time frequencies.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  1. Callage and Coverage: Ensure call cycles are maintained, covering the required number of liquor stores, shebeens, and restaurants within designated timeframes.
  2. Relationship Building: Provide excellent customer service to liquor stores, shebeens, and restaurants.
  3. On Shelf Availability: Achieve prescribed SKU distribution in shebeens and restaurants, identify category gaps for clients and competitors, spot opportunities to increase client product presence, ensure products are visible to consumers, and facilitate quick shelf placement of new SKUs.
  4. Pricing Compliance: Regularly audit product pricing to ensure consistency, identify anomalies, and report them immediately.
  5. Point of Sale Implementation: Ensure client POS materials are installed according to specified guidelines.
  6. Order Management: Follow up on unfulfilled orders from Spaza shops, assist with order-related queries, understand sales targets, develop plans to meet these targets, and apply an entrepreneurial approach to increase sales and distribution at liquor shops, shebeens, and restaurants.
