Purpose of the JobThe Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualising and delivering high-quality creative assets across both digital and print platforms.

This includes a broad range of visual content that supports brand strategy, internal communication, marketing campaigns, and business objectives.The role encompasses, but not limited to, the design of digital materials such as presentations, interactive forms, social media content, motion graphics, website elements, and other multimedia assets that enhance user engagement and brand presence online.Print responsibilities extend to, but are not limited to, the development of editorial layouts, marketing collateral, event and campaign materials, signage, internal and vehicle branding— all executed with an emphasis on creativity, brand alignment, and production excellence.This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on design skills, with a strong understanding of how visual communication influences perception, engagement, and business performance.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & ExecutionLead the full lifecycle of creative projects across various mediums and platforms, including briefing, conceptualisation, production, approvals, and implementationProactively prepare project timelines and manage design capacity to ensure on-time delivery without compromising qualityWork closely with internal stakeholders to align projects with business needs and objectivesLiaise with external suppliers to ensure accurate execution of branded materialsEnsure that creative output aligns with campaign goals, messaging strategies, and expectationsConduct post-project reviews to identify opportunities for process or creative improvementReview and refine all design assets to ensure quality control and consistencyBrand & Visual Identity OversightChampion brand integrity across all touchpoints ensuring every visual execution reflects the tone, personality, and professionalism of the companyMaintain and evolve the master brand while keeping visual cohesionDevelop brand toolkits, design systems, and usage guidelines for internal and external teamsAudit existing brand touchpoints and propose updates to modernise, improve clarity and consistencyPlan and design branded spaces for events and exhibitions, translating brand offering into the physical environmentsSet the creative tone for the department, encouraging originality, critical thinking, and solution-focused designServe as the Marketing team's escalation point for creative challenges, providing hands-on support when needed to unblock workflowsStay current on design trends tools, and emerging tech - Sharing insights with the wider teamProduction & Technical ExecutionPrepare and package artwork for all formats (print, digital, signage, large-format and packaging) ensuring each file meets the exact specsCollaborate with print vendors and fabricators to ensure the technical viability of all production artworkOversee press-checks or production milestones where needed to ensure the accuracy of colour, sizing, and material outputProvide technical recommendations on material types, finishes, and formats depending on the project's objective and budgetMaintain organised asset libraries, version control, and brand collateral archives for team-wide access and useDigital & UX / UI Design (would be beneficial)Conceptualise, wireframe, and design user interfaces for websites, internal platforms, and any digital landing pagesConduct visual and usability audits of existing digital platforms and propose design improvements for clarity and engagementCollaborate with cross functional teams to align UI / UX outputs with functionality, accessibility, and brand identityMinimum RequirementsGrade 12 (Matric)Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication,or equivalent7+ years' experience in an agency or corporate environmentSkills RequiredExpert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)Proficient in Microsoft (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)Beneficial Skills Good understanding of UX / UI design principlesFamiliar with animation principles and the creation of motion-based assets for internal and external usePersonal AttributesConfident creative thinker with a strong eye for design detail, layout precision, and visual hierarchySolution-driven and accountable, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering quality workAgile multitasker who thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts seamlessly to shifting prioritiesClient- and stakeholder-facing, able to present, explain, and adjust creative direction with professionalism and clarityStrategic mindset, connecting visual solutions to broader business and communication goalsSupportive team player who collaborates well across departments and contributes to a positive, productive team cultureResilient under pressure, welcoming feedback and remaining calm, focused, and solutions-oriented in high-demand situationsKnowledgeStrong grasp of design principles, branding, and layoutProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)Skilled in designing for both print and digital platforms, with production-ready accuracyKnowledge of corporate identity and multi-brand managementUnderstanding of print production, signage, and environmental design
