In this role, you’ll manage the full candidate lifecycle from sourcing, screening, and market research to interviews and relationship management. You’ll work closely with Recruitment Consultants and the Business Development Consultant to ensure only top-tier candidates are presented to clients.

Duties:

• Write and manage job adverts across LinkedIn, Pnet, Indeed, and social media
• Source candidates via job portals, LinkedIn Recruiter, and databases
• Conduct cold calls and initiate tailored outreach to passive candidates
• Build sector-specific talent pipelines and update Placement Partner (ATS)
• Screen CVs and interview candidates to assess skills, motivation, and fit
• Prepare candidates for interviews and maintain regular communication
• Shortlist candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage compliance processes
• Support candidate documentation and ensure a smooth candidate journey

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, I/O Psychology, Business Administration or related field

Experience

• 2 – 3 years’ proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Sales and Marketing or similar role.
• Strong understanding of the recruitment industry and demonstrate proven ability to reach targets.

Skills & Competencies:

• Articulate: Able to handle complex objections while maintaining composure and credibility. Strong questioning skills and ability to build rapport at all levels.
• Confident: Engaging personality with the confidence to pitch opportunities, interview and qualify candidates, and manage post-interview feedback.
• Proactive and Reliable: Ability to source suitable applicants from various angles and provide effective solutions.
• Resilient: Able to handle challenges, take rejections, and bounce back in a tough recruitment environment.
• IT Literate: Strong knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new systems.
• Sales Competent: Competitive, eager to improve, and willing to develop new skills in talent sourcing and recruitment.
• Team-player: Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
