Job description

Our client, an NGO, is looking for the Head: Finance & Operations Management who will make a transformative impact through strategic leadership of the financial and operations functions by developing, maintaining, and overseeing the implementation of financial strategies and operational processes.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

1. A full CA(SA) / ACCA or equivalent qualifications with a postgraduate degree in Accounting/Finance.
2. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Financial & Operational Management.
3. Experience operating and leading at Exco level is an advantage and demonstrates the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
4. Strong interest in the field of basic education, with an understanding and deep interest in the African educational landscape.
5. Strong financial analysis skills, particularly regarding funding requirements for the Funda Wande programmes.
6. Advanced computer literacy and knowledge of Financial Management systems.
