Health and Safety Officer

Location: Sabie

Salary: R10 000 - R15 000 + Housing

Our client in the Forestry sector is looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join their team in Sabie area.

Minimum Requirements:

• SAMTRAC certification
• 5 to 10 years’ relevant experience
• SAIOSH and SACMPCP registered
• Experience with ISO 9001 and 45001
• Valid driver's license

Duties:

• Compile and maintain Safety, Health & Environmental policies and procedures on site; conduct inspections; complete reports; analyze information from sites; maintain records of your responsible area
• Enforce ISO 9001 and 45001 standards and client-specific systems on site
• Ensure legal compliance
• Compile and maintain all QMS systems through in-field inspections
• Manage risks effectively
• Ensure all staff and clients comply with health and safety regulations
