What is the purpose of this role?

This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering the Communications, Marketing, and Content functions across Southern Africa. It involves implementing regional programs locally to drive sales and enhance brand recognition and reputation through effective marketing execution.

Areas Of Responsibility:
Strategic
  • Implement regional marketing, communications, content, and CRM strategies in Southern Africa.
Financial
  • Manage projects ensuring timely delivery within budget, collaborating with regional teams.
Marketing Campaigns and Product Management
  • Launch new products and initiatives aligned with regional trends.
  • Maintain brand positioning through targeted, innovative campaigns and promotional activities to build brand equity.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to develop local content.
  • Manage product materials based on distributor needs and promote product benefits.
  • Understand ABOs’ usage and promotion of products.
  • Monitor overseas and local market trends and competitors to adapt regional strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal and external suppliers.
Communications
  • Ensure timely delivery of communication plans and tools for internal and external audiences.
  • Manage content planning for communication channels, ensuring relevance and quality.
  • Maintain website content, including updates on new products, launches, and promotions.
Relationship Building
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across the organization to support marketing initiatives.
  • Engage with senior ABO leaders to incorporate their feedback into future plans.
Meeting and Event Participation
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing activations at meetings and events.
What You’ll Need
  • Degree in marketing, commerce, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven marketing and new product development experience.
  • Strong brand management and product development skills.
  • Understanding of digital and social media.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Motivated self-starter.
