Morae Global is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sales Development Representative – Associate.

LOCATION: Observatory, Cape Town

TITLE: Sales Development Representative

LEVEL: Associate

JOB TYPE: Full Time (Hybrid)

WORKING HOURS: 1pm SA time to 10pm SA time

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone with 2 years of experience who is ready to bring their expertise to a fast-paced, innovative environment.

You'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact by connecting businesses with the Legal and IT solutions they need to succeed.

What you will bring:

  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written - Near Native Level English.
  • You can communicate in a clear, goal-oriented way that leaves no room for interpretation.
  • You take initiative, multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High energy and positive attitude.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Booking outbound meetings through cold calling.
  2. Generating outbound meetings through a multi-channel approach of emails, social selling, networking, and independent research.
  3. Establishing genuine relationships with key stakeholders across the business and externally with our different clients.
  4. Engaging with a range of prospects, including C-suite / Directors, from various organizations ranging from Blue Chip to the Public Sector.
  5. Leading discovery conversations with prospects on behalf of our clients to unearth challenges and understand digital roadmaps for the coming year.
  6. Striving to learn on a day-to-day basis.
  7. Delivering World Class Customer Service for clients at every touchpoint of the process, adhering to best practices.
  8. Continually acting as an ambassador for the Morae brand.
  9. Influencing the growth of the overall business.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting and lead generation: Identifying potential clients within target industries and generating qualified leads through networking, cold calling, and market research.
  2. Relationship building: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts at client companies, understanding their business challenges and goals.
  3. Needs analysis: Conducting in-depth consultations to assess client needs and identify opportunities to match their requirements with the company's products or services.
  4. Solution selling: Presenting customized proposals and demonstrating how the company's offerings can address specific client pain points and deliver value.
  5. Account management: Maintaining ongoing relationships with existing clients, managing renewals, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  6. Market knowledge: Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to effectively position the company's offerings.

Must be flexible to work in US hours.
