Accountant General Skills and Qualifications :
- 5 or more years’ previous work experience in a financial role
- Accounting / Finance Degree
- Knowledge of Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting Standards, and Tax Regulations
- Proven ability in financial analysis, strategy, and reporting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong data entry and general math skills
Finance Manager Key Role
- Manage financial data, reports, industry trend analysis, and assess company financial health
- Oversee finance department operations, policies, budgeting, recruitment, and training
- Supervise account reconciliations, compliance, and cash flow forecasting

- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries; analyze account information
- Document transactions, recommend financial actions, and prepare financial reports

Customer Invoicing and Receipting
- Invoice customers timely, issue statements monthly, and follow up on overdue accounts
Supplier Payments and Expenses
- Authorize and process supplier invoices and payments according to instructions
Reconciliations of Key Accounts
- Reconcile bank and loan accounts regularly, ensure accuracy, and submit statutory returns timely
Processing of Payroll
- Process payroll, print payslips, and manage leave accruals
- Handle SARS returns and year-end reports
Budgets and Financial Statements
- Assist with budgets, process journals, prepare financial statements, and analyze variances
- Coordinate with auditors and project managers for reporting
Data Management
- Maintain payroll software subscriptions and updates
