Role Overview:

The successful candidate will play a key role in:

1. Defining and delivering the Cyber Detection Strategy, including alerting for the SOC to detect malicious activity.
2. Performing proactive threat hunting to identify threats that may bypass existing security controls.
3. Serving as the alternate Cyber Security Incident First Responder Lead for FRG.
4. Providing security consulting for FRG Business Units.
5. Threat intelligence analytics and response.
6. Guidance and support in cyber detection and threat hunting strategies.
7. Red team / penetration testing experience.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in information security, management, or computer engineering.
• Certifications such as CEH or CISSP.
• Strong knowledge of cyber threat detection, investigation, and mitigation.
• Experience with incident response, investigations, and core security technologies.
• Hands-on technical skills, especially within Microsoft and Cisco environments.
• Awareness of cyber-attack techniques and monitoring systems.
• Experience with SIEM tools.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the Cyber Security Detection Framework, including playbooks and alerting processes.
• Enhancing security alerting and log analytics.
• Proactive threat hunting and investigation of security events.
• Detecting and neutralizing threats, including those evading automated solutions.
• Tracking adversaries and performing threat hunts for Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
• Leading or participating in incident response for P1/P2 incidents.
• Monitoring threat landscape, malware analysis, and IOC generation.
• Producing actionable threat intelligence reports.
