Job description

We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team at our Dome branch.

Mechanic Requirements

Requirements / Personal Attributes:

• Presentable appearance and sober habits
• Excellent timekeeping skills
• No criminal record
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to train co-workers
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
• A working understanding of electrical DBs and wiring
• Experience with diagnostics equipment and ECUs
• Computer literate
• Strong technical background
• Knowledge of reconning starters, alternators, and all electrical components
• Knowledge of ECUs and key coding
• Knowledge of programming ECUs
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Set high standards and realistic goals both personally and within the team
• Work in accordance with professional standards with thorough knowledge in the field
• Knowledge of siphoning fuel from a car

• Trade test motor mechanic (red seal)
• 5-7 years’ experience in diagnostics and fault finding
