Job description

NMI is looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our growing team in Cape Town, South Africa. In this role, you will analyze financial data, develop reports, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience in financial modeling, and a keen eye for trends and opportunities. Key Responsibilities :
  1. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools to support financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  2. Utilize Salesforce data to track and analyze key business performance metrics, integrating this with financial data to provide actionable insights.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, identify opportunities for optimization, and provide strategic recommendations.
  4. Identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth through data-driven analysis.
  5. Support the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
Key Requirements :
  1. Advanced proficiency in business intelligence tools for creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  2. Strong experience working with Salesforce for financial data tracking and reporting.
  3. Excellent business acumen with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Nice to Haves :
  1. Experience in Power BI or Tableau.
  2. Experience in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant data.
  3. Familiarity with Google BigQuery.

Position Details :

This is a hybrid position. The successful candidate must be located in Cape Town and willing to attend the office at Cape Town V&A.

  1. Annual salary of R574,850 – R614,850 depending on experience.
  2. Annual bonus scheme based on individual and company performance.
  3. 15 days holiday plus 12 public holidays each year, with an additional day after each year of service up to a maximum of 20 days.
