Purpose of the Role

Responsible for preparing detailed project cost estimates and comprehensive proposals for electrical and automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with sales, engineering, and other teams to understand client requirements and develop solutions.
2. Analyze RFPs and RFQs, review technical requirements and drawings, and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.
3. Review tender documents, specifications, and client requirements.
4. Develop accurate proposals and ensure timely submission.
5. Estimate costs for materials, equipment, labor, and overheads.
6. Engage with suppliers and stakeholders for equipment and services.
7. Participate in proposal presentations and site briefings.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• 3-5 years' experience in estimating and bidding in electrical engineering, including industrial electrical projects and tenders.
• Experience with Motor Control Centers (MCC), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of Variable Speed Drives and SCADA systems.
• Experience in water and wastewater treatment industry (Advantage).
