Job description

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer (Angular) to join our client's Software Development team, onsite, in Hillcrest.

Responsibilities :

1. Development of significant new application interfaces and features :
2. Interface for suppliers to access and maintain their inventory and pricing.
3. Improve product search and redesign workflow to bring products front and center (current workflow requires a number of steps before users see products).
4. Improve various aspects of the UI and UX to simplify and enhance the platform.
5. Revamp of the current application dashboard for a more intuitive user experience as well as presenting users with targeted product information and marketing content.
6. Developing enhancements to existing functionality and features to make the use of the application more efficient.
7. Enhancing our platform with pixel perfect, flexible styling.
8. Work with relevant stakeholders in the business to feed into the UX and UI design of new application features.
9. Standardise existing code base (layouts / styling / components) where necessary.
10. Create administration interfaces for a number of config tables that don’t yet have a UI.

Qualifications :

1. Matriculation (Strong Mathematics).
2. BSC Engineering or Computer Science Degree.
3. UI and UX design flair.
4. 3-5 years of development experience (preferred experience in ecommerce, online ordering, logistics platform or similar).
5. Angular / Sass and AngularJS / Less front-end
6. NET Core WebAPI back-end.
7. Experience with AdobeXD / Figma / Inkscape or similar.
