Position Overview : The Regional Sales Development Executive, South Africa, will lead the company's expansion into the South African market by implementing a targeted go-to-market strategy.

This role involves managing all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting to client onboarding and retention.

The position requires independence and adaptability, with a focus on building networks, attending industry events, and maintaining a high-velocity sales process across SME and Enterprise opportunities.

Key Performance Areas :
  1. Market Strategy Development & Growth : Refine and execute the regional go-to-market strategy, aligning it with company objectives. Adapt strategies based on market feedback and sales performance. Promote the company's brand by delivering excellent client experiences and expanding within business communities. Share best practices in prospecting and pipeline management to improve sales outcomes.
  2. Sales Process Management : Oversee the full sales cycle, develop a consistent sales cadence for SME and enterprise segments, and manage the sales pipeline to meet or exceed targets. Prioritize key market segments for ongoing expansion.
  3. Relationship and Network Building : Build a strong network within the South African business community, represent the company at events, and enhance brand credibility.
  4. Sales Operations : Serve as the regional contact for sales activities, utilize CRM tools for tracking and forecasting, report weekly on sales metrics, and plan for potential team expansion.
  5. Communication & Collaboration : Coordinate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align messaging, share regional insights, and ensure smooth onboarding of clients. Collaborate with leadership on hiring and training.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
  • Revenue Growth : Achieve or surpass revenue targets for South Africa.
  • Pipeline Velocity : Maintain a healthy sales pipeline for SME and enterprise deals.
  • Network Expansion : Participate actively in industry events.
  • Client Satisfaction : Ensure successful onboarding and engagement.
  • Client Net Retention : Promote responsible sales to maximize retention on renewal.
Qualifications and Experience :
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in software, with a successful track record.
  • Deep understanding of the full sales cycle.
